Be Sure To Tick These Off Your List...

Here is a list of the most famous monuments not to be missed during your trip to Český Krumlov.

Český Krumlov State Castle and Chateau

This is actually the second largest castle complex in the Czech Republic. Only the Prague Castle is larger. Several guided tours are available.

Castle Gardens

This unique park is constructed in two separated distinct styles:  the front park is a meticulous French park and the back half is a more relaxed English park. The famous if somewhat controversial Revolving Auditorium is located in the English park part. It is well worth a visit during the summer season.

Barbers´ Bridge

A wooden bridge across the Vltava River linking the Latrán and Parkán quarters. Watch the boats sail down the river in the summer.

Museum Photo Studio Seidel

The southern river meander has many gems to offer. The Seidel Museum is one of them as it includes an authentic 19th century photo atelier. While you are there, check out the Synagogue or the charming Egon Schiele summer house nearby.

Český Krumlov Monasteries

Newly reconstructed and recently open to public, these are two massive monasteries (a male and a female one) located close to the Castle gates.
